Claire Rodrigues-Lee

Claire Rodrigues-Lee is a multi-award winning, platinum album-selling songwriter from London, accumulating huge success for her work in the J-pop and K-pop scene. Her most impressive awards include Best Song and Album of the Year for the 29th Golden Disk Awards in Beijing and winner of the Best International Song for the 2015 Sony Music Japan Awards.

Her hit song “It’s You”, written for Yuri (Girls Generation) and included on the band’s sixth studio album ‘Holiday Night’ (2017), reached number 1 on the Billboard world album charts and went to number 1 in 19 countries. Claire has also been involved in various other musical projects which includes writing the theme song for Japan’s version of Orphan Black, which was released as a single for Korean superstar JY, and co-wrote the winner’s single for China’s Idol Producer.

In 2022, Claire co-wrote the song “Jealous”, which featured on Japanese singer and actor Nissy’s highly anticipated third record ‘HOCUS POCUS 3’. She also co-wrote the song “Too Close (Xin Tiao Pu Tong)”, by Taiwanese singer and actress GEmma Wu, which became the opening theme song for season 2 of Taiwanese reality TV show Hi, Come In, released on Netflix.

2023 has seen Claire co-write the debut single “Because of You, I Shine”, by Thai group BUS. The new boy band were the final line up from the highly popular Thai reality survival show 789 Survival.
