New Releases Round Up
2021 is already off to a flying start with our writers having contributed to an array of highly anticipated releases. Here is a round-up of their top songs from January through to March:
JANUARY
Robots In Disguise: The Singles and Remixes. Writers: Sue Denim and Dee Plume
15th January 2021 marked the 20th anniversary since Robots in Disguise released their first ever single. To celebrate, you can now listen to 37 one-stop singles and remixes in a never-seen-before ultimate package, available here.
Reboost – “Better With You”. Writers: Charlotte Haining, Emelie Eriksson, Jakob Redtzer, Peter Bostrom
Released on 29th January, enjoy this catchy and upbeat electronic dance track.
FEBRUARY
Technimatic – “Still Miss You”. Writers: Charlotte Haining, Andy Powell, Peter Rogers
On 5th February, DnB duo Technimatic released their song “Still Miss You”, featuring vocals by Charlotte Haining.
Mike Mago – “My Mind”. Writers: Charlotte Haining, Michiel Thomassen
Dance DJ Mike Mago released the song “My Mind”, co-written and with vocals by Charlotte Haining, on 19th February. It follows on from their previous collaboration “On Repeat”, featuring Kelli-Leigh, which has over 4 million Spotify streams to date.
MARCH
Nu:Tone – “Sleepwalker”. Writers: Charlotte Haining, Daniel Gresham
It has been six years since Nu:Tone’s last LP release. “Sleepwalker” features as the first song on his brand new album, ‘Little Spaces’.
Conchúr White – “Vocation Vacation”. Writers: Simon Dine, Conchúr White
Northern Irish artist Conchúr White released his single “Vocation Vacation” on 3rd March. The track is the first single from White’s upcoming second EP ‘Dreamers’, due to be released in the summer. Check out the reviews from Under The Radar and The Line of Best Fit.
Tribe Friday – “get up!”. Writers: Noah Deutschmann, Anton Hillvall, Isak Gunnarsson, Robin Perez
Listen to Swedish band Tribe Friday’s newest single “get up!”, controlled by Kassner Music for the UK and Ireland. Keep an eye out for their upcoming EP ‘Bubblegum Emo’ due to be released in the spring/summer.
Jay Robinson – “Heartbeat”. Writers: Charlotte Haining, James Alan Robinson
DJ Jay Robinson’s new song “Heartbeat”, featuring the vocals of Charlotte Haining, is out now. Axtone describes Charlotte’s contribution as “a haunting vocal that pairs perfectly with Jay’s stripped back but broody production.”
Emba – “Holy Ground”. Writers: Charlotte Haining, David Wilson
