Kassner Music is excited to announce the signing of successful London-based topline writer Liam O’Donnell, best known for co-writing the triple platinum US singles “Uma Thurman” by Fall Out Boy and “Lights Down Low” by MAX (US Top 10).
In 2023, Liam co-wrote K-Pop sensation IVE’s smash “Either Way”, released via Starship Entertainment, which peaked at #3 on the South Korean Circle Digital Chart and was the first single from the group’s debut Korean-language EP I’ve Mine. The album topped the Circle Albums Chart and became IVE’s fifth number 1 record, winning the award for Best Album (Bonsang) at the 38th Golden Disc Awards.
Across his career, Liam has also had cuts with the likes of Chainsmokers, Little Boots, Kodaline, Cheat Codes and Japanese mega group One OK Rock.
In addition, Liam is an accomplished vocal performer, having featured and collaborated on releases for Galantis, NGHTMRE, Illenium and Audien.
Having returned to the UK after a spell living in LA, Liam now divides his time writing between London, LA, Nashville and Berlin. He has recently been working with a range of artists, producers and writers such as Chris De Sarandy, Delilah Montagu, Moss Kena, Hayes Warner and Crash Adams.
“I’m thrilled to be continuing an already successful relationship with the Kassner team and believe they are perfectly placed to help craft the next stage in Liam’s prolific career as an international topline writer”, says Liam’s manager Will Harper.
“I’m a longtime fan of Liam and thrilled to be working with him. He’s incredibly talented, extremely versatile and consistently pushes himself and the teams around him to write amazing songs”, says Kassner Music Head of Business Affairs, Alex Kassner.
