Andy Caine Signs Worldwide Deal with Kassner Music

Kassner Music is delighted to share the news that it has signed songwriter and session singer Andy Caine to a global publishing deal.

After a brief stint as a solo recording artist in the mid-80s, Andy became a prolific songwriter, often in collaboration with the famed producer Youth (Martin Glover) and other acclaimed writers of the 90s and 00s such as Ray Hedges, Danny Schogger, Guy Chambers and fellow Kassner writer Vivien Goldman.

His biggest successes were “Fine Time” by Yazz in 1989 (UK #9) and “Blame It On The Weatherman” by B*Witched, a UK #1 in 1999. Other chart hits include “Everybody” by Hear’Say (UK #4 in 2001) and “Preacher Man” (UK #20) and “Only Your Love” (UK #27), released by Bananarama in 1990.

He has recently been collaborating with The Orb, with his song “Tiger” included on their 2023 album Prism and “Daze” and “House of Narcotics” from the 2020 release Abolition of the Royal Familia.

Andy Caine says of the deal: “I am so pleased to be welcomed into the Kassner Music family! They are a very impressive and focused team that I feel inspired by. Here’s to a fruitful future together!”

Alex Kassner says of the deal: “Andy and I have known each other for many years and I am delighted to have finally been able to bring his catalogue and creative talents to the Kassner roster. We look forward to finding success with the great songs he has written in the past and will write in the future.”
