Phil Gornell is an English songwriter, producer and mixer based in Los Angeles. For over a decade he’s produced, engineered, mixed and written records for some of the biggest names in pop & rock.
Phil started his career doing live sound for a range of successful rock bands including Bring Me The Horizon, New Found Glory and 5 Seconds of Summer. During this time Phil set up renowned studio Steel City in Sheffield where he engineered records with Bring Me The Horizon and co-wrote and produced Deaf Havana’s UK top 3 album ‘Rituals’, released in 2018.
In 2019, Phil moved to Los Angeles to set up a new recording facility and take on numerous exciting new projects including working with All Time Low. He was then involved in co-writing and producing seven tracks on All Time Low’s album, ‘Wake Up, Sunshine’ (Billboard Rock #1, OCC #3), released in April 2020.
Phil continues to work across genres and styles with a variety of well known artists in the US and UK.
