It features the Kassner song Portrait of My Love PORTRAIT OF MY LOVE by CYRIL ORNADEL,DAVID WEST| as it was interpreted by jazz trumpeter Oswald “Baba” Brooks. Written by Cyril Ornadel and David West (a pseudonym for Norman Newell) Portrait of My Love was originally a UK top 10 hit for Matt Monro in 1960 and then also for Steve Lawrence in the US one year later. It remains one of the most enduring songs in the Kassner catalogue, with over 2 million broadcast performances confirmed in the US alone.
